Fresh Guava Mint Frozen Margaritas

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon white granulated sugar
  • 1+1/2  cups ice
  • 3 shots chilled tequila
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
  • 4 tablespoons cold guava syrup. See recipe below
  • 2 tablespoons guava pulp from the syrup
  • 2 tablespoons pink guava paste. Optional
  • Splash of fresh lime juice
  • Fresh mint leaves and some slices of guava for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pour sugar out onto a flat plate.
  2. Wet the rims for two margarita glasses and dip in the sugar.
  3. Place the ice, tequila syrup, mint, pulp, paste (if using) and lime juice in a blender.
  4. Blend and pour into the two prepared margarita glasses.
  5. Garnish each margarita with mint leaves and serve
