Fresh Guava Mint Frozen Margaritas

white granulated sugar

shots chilled tequila

chopped fresh mint

cold guava syrup. See recipe below

guava pulp from the syrup

pink guava paste. Optional

Splash of fresh lime juice

Fresh mint leaves and some slices of guava for garnish

Pour sugar out onto a flat plate.

Wet the rims for two margarita glasses and dip in the sugar.

Place the ice, tequila syrup, mint, pulp, paste (if using) and lime juice in a blender.

Blend and pour into the two prepared margarita glasses.

Garnish each margarita with mint leaves and serve
