Guava Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh peeled and finely chopped guavas

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Turn the heat down to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat, let the mixture stand overnight.
  4. Strain the liquid into a small pitcher, reserve the pulp separately and chill both for at least 2 hours.
