Herby Cream Cheese Camembert

mixed chopped herbs*

butter
room temperature

cup
plus 2 tablespoons cream cheese

Kosher or flavored salt

teaspoons
freshly grated lemon zest

Chopped herbs and lemon zest herbs for garnish

Crackers or flatbreads

Dice the herbs into small pieces. Set aside a few for garnish in a wet paper towel.

Beat the butter and cream cheese until smooth.

Fold in the chopped herbs and 1 teaspoon of lemon zest.

Season with salt.

Halve the well-chilled Camembert horizontally.

Spread the herb cream on the bottom half and replace top.

Cover the top and sides with the mixture.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Plate and garnish the Camembert with the remaining chopped herbs.

Serve with Crackers or flatbreads.
*I used, mint, chives, rosemary, cilantro, and parsley
