Cherry Chocolate Valentine’s Fondue

semisweet chocolate

milk chocolate

tablespoons
kirsch or cherry brandy

teaspoon
cherry-flavored extract

Strawberries
bananas, pineapple, brownies, blondies, marshmallows, or your choice of dipping items.

Cut up any dipping elements that need to be sliced.

Chop the chocolate and set aside.

Place a smaller pot inside a larger pot that has a few inches of water in the bottom.

Pour the cream into the smaller pot and bring to a boil.

Add the chocolate and stir or whisk until the chocolate combines with the cream.

Whisk in the kirsch and cherry extract.

Light the flame under the fondue pot.

Transfer the chocolate mixture to the fondue pot.

Place the fondue pot in its stand and light the flame underneath.

Start dipping!
