Whisk together flour, sugar, salt and spices.
Add butter and egg yolk to the dry ingredients and knead until a smooth dough forms.
Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate one hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line 2 baking sheets with baking paper.
Melt the brown sugar in a pan and toss 1 cup of the peanuts in the sugar. Add a little water to the pan if necessary and set aside.
Remove the dough from the fridge and divide it in half.
Roll out each half of the dough into equal rectangles.
Spread the peanut butter over one of the rectangles.
Sprinkled the brown sugar peanuts over the peanut butter and lay the other dough rectangle on top.
Cut the dough into strips from the shorter end.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Remove from oven, transfer to wire racks, and let cool completely.
Mix the powdered sugar and the orange juice together until smooth.
Drizzle over the peanut sticks and sprinkle with the rest of the chopped peanuts.
Let the glaze harden before serving.
