Heat oven to 350°F.
Line two baking sheets with baking or parchment paper.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, apple pie spice, nutmeg, and salt.
Beat the butter and brown and white sugars until well combined.
Add the eggs and vanilla. top the mixer at intervals and scrape down the sides of the bowl.
Beat in the boiled cider until just combined.
Add the combined dry ingredients.
Mix in the oats and pear pieces.
Use a spoon or cookie scoop to portion out the cookie dough on the baking sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until the cookies start to turn golden brown.
Remove from oven and transfer to wire racks to let the cookies cool completely.
