Peel and core the pears. Chop into small pieces.
Place in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Pour the pear juice over the top just until the pieces are covered.
After 20 minutes stir in the cardamom and cinnamon
Boil at medium heat until the pears are soft and the liquid is absorbed (30-40 minutes)
Let cool for a half hour. Transfer to a blender or food processor and process until smooth.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
