Walnut Mustard Crusted Asparagus

plus 1/4 cup unsalted butter
divided

Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper.

panko crumbs

1/3
cup
coarsely ground walnuts

tablespoons
whole grain or stone ground mustard

Peel green asparagus at the bottom and

Halve diagonally.

Boil in salted water for 10 minutes until tender but firm.

Drain and pat dry.

Preheat the oven to 400F.

Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet.

Add the asparagus.

Sauté for a few minutes.

Season with salt & pepper

Transfer to a baking dish.

Melt 1/4 cup butter in the skillet.

Add the panko and walnuts.
-
Stir in the mustard.

Season with salt and pepper.

Spread the mixture over the asparagus.

Bake for 10 minutes.

Plate & Serve.
