Preheat the oven to 350F

Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

Roll out the cookie dough on a lightly floured surface.

Cut out coffin shapes with a cookie cutter.

On half of the cookies, use a small square cutter to cut a box shape out of the top half of the cookie.

Bake for 7 minutes or according to the cookie recipe's directions.

Transfer to a wire rack and let cool completely.

Spread the solid cookies with jam and top with the cutout cookie.

Place the eyes on top of the jam in the box window.

Plate and serve.
