Preheat the oven to oven to 350F

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Transfer to the baking sheet.

Spread the breadcrumbs down the middle of the sheet, lengthwise.

Distribute the leftovers down the middle on top of the breadcrumbs.

Fold the edges over and seal the seam. Seal the sends.

Gently flip the strudel over so the seam is on the bottom.

Beat the egg and brush it over the strudel.

Bake for 30 minutes.

Cut and serve.
