Apple Cinnamon Red Cabbage
Ingredients
- 1 red cabbage approx. 2 lbs
- 2 red onions
- 2 apples
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 heaping tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup red wine
- 6 tablespoons red balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup apple jelly
Instructions

Shred the cabbage. Discard the stalk.

Peel and dice the onions.

Peel, core, and dice the apples.

2 Sauté the onions in butter until translucent.

Stir in the cabbage and apple.

Add cinnamon, sugar, salt, red wine and vinegar.

Bring to a boil, them turn the heat down to low.
