Orange Juice Crinkle Cookies

Join me on a citrusy adventure with these Orange Juice Crinkle Cookies. They are the perfect treat to brighten up any day and tickle your taste buds with a burst of fresh flavor.

First things first, we start off with the zest of one orange combined with sugar to create the magical ingredient known as orange sugar. It’s like regular sugar, but with a zesty twist that’ll make your taste buds dance with delight.

Next up, we’ve got the wet ingredients – an egg beaten with orange juice. It’s like a little sunshine in a bowl, ready to bring a burst of citrusy goodness to our cookie dough.

After chilling the dough for an hour (because even cookie dough needs a little chill time), it’s time to get our hands dirty. We roll the dough into balls, because who doesn’t love playing with dough? Then, we roll each ball in granulated sugar and powdered sugar, because why settle for just one kind of sugar when you can have two?

The result? A powdered sugar-dusted crinkle cookie that’s bursting with fresh orange flavor. It’s like taking a bite out of a juicy orange, but without all the mess!

But wait, there’s more! These cookies are ripe for additions. Add nuts, dried fruit, or chocolate chips – or why not throw them all in together for a flavor explosion? The possibilities are endless, but let’s be real, these cookies are delicious on their own.
