Ingredients

  • 1 package sugar cookie dough
  • 8 oz pink tinted fondant
  • 1 tube white royal icing
  • 24 candy eyes
  • 25 large black non nonpariels
  • green disco dust
  • red disco dust
  • 1 oz vodka or clear liquor

Instructions

  1. Roll out the cookie dough, cut out pig shapes, and bake according to the package's instructions.

  2. When the cookies have cooled completely, roll out the fondant and cut out pig shapes.

  3. Lightly coat the cookies with the royal icing ad ahere the fondant to the tops of the cookies.

  4. Use royal icing to glue the candy eyes onto the cookies.

  5. Roll 12 small balls out of the fondant and press them into the center of the cookies, creating the nose.

  6. Press two black nonpareils into each nose to create the nostrils.

  7. Use a mini 4-leaf clover or shape with your hands 24 shamrock shapes out of the fondant.

  8. Dip one of the paintbrushes into the vodka, then into the green disco dust and coat the shamrocks.

  9. Adhere 1 shamrock to each ear.

  10. Use a mini half-moon-shaped cutter or your fingers to create 12 mouth shapes.

  11. Dip the other paintbrush into the vodka, then into the red disco dust and coat the half-moons.

  12. Adhere the half-moons to the mouth position under the noses.

  13. Plate and serve.
