Black & Orange Halloween Deviled Eggs

Since I am the self-proclaimed Halloween party queen, on All Hallow’s Eve I am sharing with you one of my most popular, creative and easiest to create menu items. Behold this Halloween Deviled Eggs Roundup. You can make these today for your celebration tonight.

Bat Deviled Eggs for Halloween

Deviled Eggs are so easy to throw together and they are the first platter empty at my parties. If you are serving heavy-handed cocktails, in my case Halloween martinis, you need to give your guests plenty of carbs and protein to soak up all that alcohol.

Two of my own recipes are included in this Deviled Eggs Halloween Roundup. I collected other creepy, funny and tasty versions from other creative souls on the interwebs to give you inspiration for creating your own.  Raid your fridge and cabinets for spicy and savory ingredients and/or condiments for the yolk fillings.

Egg-Cellent Halloween Treats:

Quickly dye cooked egg whites. Like in 5 minutes. The secret is rice vinegar. Who knew? I created black eggs with orange filling and vice versa.  For the deviled eggs filling I mixed the yolks with some mayonnaise, a Worcester sauce, garlic powder, horseradish kosher salt, and freshly ground pepper. However, I encourage you to use whatever you have on hand to make a delicious filling to your taste.

These Skull Deviled Eggs make look fussy to create. however, you will be plating them in under a half hour. Use small and large straws to create the skull faces in the egg whites.

These clever cleaver deviled eggs use pre-packaged Wilton sugar knives. However, if you happen to have small cocktail forks, you can substitute those. Don’t forget the ketchup bloody touch or use hot sauce if you like a spicier version.

You get the play on vampires and garlic within this recipe, right? Besides the luscious roasted garlic, the rest was comprised of traditional deviled egg ingredients.  Mayonnaise, vinegar,  mustard powder, and of course, black paste food coloring round out the filling.

It only takes a few drops of food coloring and an improvised plastic piping bag to create these fabulously gruesome Brain Deviled Eggs.

Halloween spiderweb deviled eggs with green filling

Deliciously Rotten Halloween Deviled Eggs by Parenting Chaos

I’ve made spiderweb eggs before. They are much simpler to create than they look and I love the result. This version contains a dramatic green filling. Pretty and creepy at the same time!

You can’t go wrong with these cute Spider Deviled eggs made out of olives. The kiddies will have fun arranging the olive pieces into spider shapes. Her delicious sounding filling recipe includes sweet pickle relish. Add some dabs of red, purple, orange or green to the yolk mixture for pops of color.

These cute and colorful Monster Eyeball Deviled eggs have a pop of olive flavor. If you are an olive hater she recommends substituting pepperoni, halved cherry tomatoes or peas. These will delight your guests of all ages.

A Deviled Eggs Halloween Roundup needs a recipe resembling its namesake. A bit more sophisticated than a run of the mill deviled egg recipe, these are made with cool avocado and spicy Sriracha. Extra points for the adorable red bell pepper horns.

If you have more time today, take inspiration from this darling assortment of Halloween themed deviled eggs. Devils, spiders, and eyeballs all come together in cute creepiness.

Hope you enjoyed this Deviled Eggs Halloween Roundup. Happy Halloween everyone. Have fun and be safe!
